John Madera a.k.a. Johnny, was born March 19, 1956 in Brooklyn, NY. He came from a very large family and was the youngest of ten children. He became interested in the congas at the age of eight. His father bought his first congas. His inspiration came from listening to bands like Eddie Palmeri, Ray Barreto, Willie Colon, Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, and Ismael Miranda. His was to play with one of these bands one day.

He started playing at Miller Park in East New York when he was eight. Every Saturday he would take his congas and go to the park to jam with other musicians. He would be at the park for hours playing. At the age of thirteen, he got in trouble with the law and was put in a juvenile delinquent home for a month due to him moving with his parents to Puerto Rico. He lived in Puerto Rico until the age of twenty-one. While in P.R., he accepted the Lord as his Savior. He states He turned his life around.
He started playing more percussion instruments at the church where he became Saved. Some of the percussion instruments were the tinpani, minor percussion, drums, timbales, bongos, jumbay, etc.

Eight years later, he moved back to New York. He continued playing gospel music at the church he started to attend and became disciplined. When he was twenty-five, he started to play with the famous Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. He played with them for nineteen years and traveled to thirty-two states and twelve countries. He, also, performed at Radio City Music Hall, The Forum, Paramount Theater, and Madison Square Garden.

PRESENTING THE NEWST PANEL MEMBERS OF THE URBAN MUSIK CONFERENCE !!!!

Lottie Dah!

(Formerly of Up Front and Leather & Lace)

It was a new era in music, a new dance sound was hitting the airwaves and that year was in 1983. That’s where Ms. Lottie Dah! made her debut with the group, ‘Up Front’, featuring the mega-hit single, “Infatuation”. From that point on, Lottie was well on her way to introducing herself to the dance-music scene.

Infatuation sold two hundred fifty thousand copies and hit the airwaves in all the major radio stations. Up Front performed in all the major clubs in and out of New York, traveling to different parts of the country.

Lottie Dah! is a solid pioneer in the free-style music genre of the 80’s. In 1985, she helped to form a group called “Leather & Lace” that brought us songs like, “Tender Heart”, “Let Your Body Go” and “Rock Me, Shake Me.” Leather & Lace was the first Latin female ‘trio’ group to introduce the sound of Free-style that later dominated the club-music scene.

Her experiences have expanded into another side of the music industry where she is president of “Kaos Music/In2Deep Productions”, She still shows creativity and her passion for the music along with her partner and producer A.Blaze. In this forum, she promotes her company and helps to guide other artists who dream of becoming a big part of the music industry.

Lottie also promoted Z Music Records and has received an award in broadcasting where she hosted an internet radio show called, “Lottie Dah! is Fire” on the Von/Fence Radio network. She continues with her vision to help lead others into the music industry along with U5 Entertainment who sponsors Kaos Music as she performs her new single, “Shake’.

Her outlook on her career, “It’s not only an aspiration in my heart, but it has also been a long desired and awaited journey where I’m still eager to pursue and conquer.”

A.Blaze

Music Producer/Beat Scientist

A.BLAZE is a self taught production engineer that decided to let his destiny take over. At six years of age the vision to become a world renowned music producer was there but at that time it was all about fun and games. In 1998 it was time for changes and time to get serious. A.BLAZE started simply with a small keyboard and a dual tape recorder. He gradually let his imagination flow and now he has been simmering the buzz that he's built over a ten year period as a well in-tuned writer-composer-engineer-producer and performer.

A.BLAZE has made his rounds in the showcase arena, gracing stages in all the popular venues across New York City. Showcasing his beats has brought him notoriety in the underground world of music. His fire is consistent with his vision and direction. As Vice President of Kaos Music/In2Deep Productions, one of his huge goals is to get his company off and running with the big leagues. “Hey big leaguers, just give me the keys out of my cage cause I’m ready to be unleashed”.

A.BLAZE is simply the next generation of production powerhouses that can create just about any genre of music but mainly stays on beat with hip hop & R&B. “Whatever the flavor is…..I got this!”

Look out for A.BLAZE!!!!!

Lottie LaChica formerly Lottie Dah of "Leather and Lace" and her producer, A.BLAZE, send out a message to the masses....

Thursday, September 10, 2009
Many may remember the group LEATHER & LACE with Lottie Dah with the freestyle hits "Rock Me, Shake Me" and "Tender Heart". Well, she is NOW Lottie LaChica and still rocking, perfoming, and entertaining for the masses with new hits and a new producer, A.BLAZE. More information to come. Here is a heartfelt example of their work,

As another anniversary comes up for the 911 tragedy, it is also a time that, we as a nation, come together and give homage to the men and women that were lost from this horror.

About three years ago, we created this song called, "What About Us" which discusses the many tragedies that touched us and the people of our nation. Bush was the president then and things happened that were beyond our control that affected our lives in so many different ways.

In 2008, when President Obama was inaugurated, we weren't sure if we could still tell the same story, so we 'flipped' the song towards the end with hopes that Obama would make a difference. Now we call this project, "What About Us, Bam To The Rescue".

Please take a minute to share our interpertation. This is a way of us giving back with a sincere message that has to be told. Please forwad this to someone else so that we can continue to share our message of hope.
